
Lee Yeow Seng
Group Chief Executive Officer
Mr Lee Yeow Seng is the Group Chief Executive Officer of IOI Properties Group (“IOIPG"). He was appointed to the Board of IOIPG on 25 February 2013 as Executive Director, and subsequently held the position of Chief Executive Officer from 8 January 2014 until 14 April 2020. On 15 April 2020, Mr. Lee was appointed to Executive Vice Chairman and on 1 July 2023, he resumed the position of Group Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Lee is a barrister-at-law from the Bar of England & Wales by Inner Temple and holds a LLB (Honours) from King’s College London. He has also served at the London and Singapore offices of a leading international financial services group for approximately two (2) years.
In leading IOIPG, he provided resolute leadership in formulating high-level strategies to sustain growth across all business segments for the Group. Furthermore, he also led the Group’s transformation whilst charting a strong strategic direction and maintaining the position of IOIPG as a leading property developer in Malaysia.
Under his stewardship, IOIPG aggressively expanded its portfolio of property developments and property investments in Singapore. In 2016, the Group acquired a site in Singapore for the development of IOI Central Boulevard Towers, a premium Grade A office space located within the Marina Bay Financial Centre. A year later, IOI Properties Group commenced the grand opening of JW Marriot Hotel Singapore, a 5-star designer hotel located within South Beach, which is a JV development between IOI Properties Group and City Developments Limited (CDL). Additionally, in 2021, the Group further increased its footprint by acquiring a 0.78 hectare white site in the Marina View enclave for the development of Marina View, a high-end mix development of residences and a luxury hotel. Over in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), the Group continued to bolster its presence in Xiamen through the acquisition of land in Xiang’an in 2016 for IOI Palm International Parkhouse, a mixed residential and commercial development, which was launched in 2019. Apart from this, the Group’s first retail mall in PRC, IOI Mall Xiamen, commenced business in 2021.

Datuk Tan Kim Leong
Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman
Datuk Tan Kim Leong was appointed to the Board on 1 June 2013 as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director. Datuk Tan was subsequently designated to Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company on 1 July 2019.
Datuk Tan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (“MAICSA”). He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“MICPA”).
He has more than 50 years of experience in auditing, accounting and consulting. He was the Executive Chairman of BDO Binder, Malaysia from 1987 to 2009. He was the Chairman of the Board of Gul Technologies Singapore Limited and MCIS Insurance Berhad. He was also a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of IGB Berhad, a Director of RHB Capital Berhad, RHB Investment Bank Berhad, Malaysia-China Business Council (“MCBC”) and Trustee of Ng Teck Fong Foundation.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Amoy Canning Corporation (Malaya) Berhad. He is also Trustee of Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng.

Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor
Non-Independent Non-Executive Director
Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor was appointed to the Board as Executive Director on 25 February 2013 and was subsequently re-designated as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 18 December 2013. He is also a Chairman of Whistleblowing Committee of the Company.
Dato’ Lee is a barrister from Gray’s Inn, London and holds a LLB (Honours) from King’s College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting from London School of Economics. Prior to joining IOI Group as a General Manager in 1994, he served in the Attorney General’s Chambers and the Malaysian Judiciary Service for four (4) years from 1990 to 1994. His last posting was as a Magistrate.
Dato’ Lee is presently on the Board of IOI Corporation Berhad as its Group Managing Director and Chief Executive and also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Bumitama Agri Limited. He is also a Trustee of Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng, the charitable arm of IOI Group.
Dato’ Lee has been the Chairman of the Malaysian Palm Oil Association since 2020. He served as the Chairman of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council from 2009 to 2020.
Dato’ Lee was appointed as a Board member of Bank Negara, the Central Bank of Malaysia from 2015 to 2018. He was also a Board member of the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation from 2011 to 2013 and served on the National Council of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (“REHDA”) Malaysia as its Secretary General from 2002 to 2006.

Datuk Dr Tan Kim Heung
Non-Independent Non-Executive Director
Datuk Dr Tan Kim Heung was appointed to the Board on 1 June 2013. He is a member of Governance, Nominating and Remuneration Committee and Whistleblowing Committee of the Company
Datuk Dr Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (“MBBS”) (London) (Honours) from The Middlesex and University College Hospital Medical School, London in 1986 and received his Member of the Royal College of Physicians (“MRCP”) (United Kingdom) in 1989. In 1995, he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine/Cardiology (“MD”) from the University of London. He became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (“FACC”) in 1997, Member of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (“AM”) in 1999, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (“FRCP”) (London) in 2001.
Datuk Dr Tan is a Consultant Cardiologist at Cardiac Vascular Sentral (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia. He was previously a Consultant Cardiologist at Sunway Medical Centre, Petaling Jaya and a Professor of Medicine and Head of Cardiology at the University Malaya Medical Centre (“UMMC”) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He held this position for seven (7) years since 1997, having previously served as a Cardiologist at Guy’s Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
Datuk Dr Tan is a recipient of numerous outstanding academic awards and prizes with vast experience in various interventional cardiac procedures. He is author or co-author of more than 100 published papers/articles/abstracts in peer reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to several books. He is frequently invited to lecture and to participate as an expert faculty in international and national conferences/seminars/courses. He is also a fellow or member of numerous professional organisations and advisory boards.

Chan Cha Lin
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr Chan Cha Lin ("Mr Chan") was appointed to the Board of IOIPG on 1 June 2021 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr Chan is the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee and Whistleblowing Committee of the Company.
He is an Executive Director of Annhow Holdings Sdn Bhd, overseeing its financial assets portfolios and businesses. His key functions are fund investments, financial reporting and controlling the private companies managed by him. He has an in-depth knowledge of managing a latex medical products manufacturing business. He also has extensive experience in corporate finance, investment, accounting and property development.
Mr Chan started his career as a research analyst in the research department of a property valuation firm in 1985. Mr Chan held various managerial positions in local established project management companies and a family-owned investment holding company during the period of 1991 to 2011. He subsequently started his own property development project in 2015.
Mr Chan is also the director of Yayasan Chan Fong Ann, a philanthropic fund named after his father, which aims to provide aid to less fortunate communities in Johor. Thus far, the fund has provided much needed food and supplies to communities during the COVID19 pandemic.

Lee Ai Leng
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms Lee Ai Leng was appointed to the Board on 2 January 2023 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. She is the Chairman of the Governance, Nominating and Remuneration Committee, and a member of Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee.
She holds a LLB (Honours) in Law from the University of Malaya, she also holds a Diploma in Accounting and Finance (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
She started her career in private practice in 1991 after being called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She subsequently joined IOI Corporation Berhad in 1994 as the Group Legal Advisor and later served as joint Company Secretary as well. During her tenure with IOI Group until 2013, she was involved in both the plantation and property development businesses.
She was appointed as Head of Legal of Sime Darby Plantation Berhad ("SDP") in 2014 and was redesignated as Group General Counsel in 2018. In this role, she leads the legal functions of the SDP Group, providing legal advice and support to SDP and its local and overseas subsidiary companies. Being part of the senior management team of SDP, she also serves as a member of various management committees which include Group Investment Committee, Credit Committee, Whistleblowing Committee and Group Tender Committee.
Ms Lee’s legal career spans over 30 years and she has extensive experience in plantation and property industries. Her areas of expertise include corporate and commercial law focusing on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets, private debt securities, banking and finance matters as well as property development, real and personal property transactions.

Dato’ David Tan Thean Thye
Independent Non-Executive Director
Dato’ David Tan was appointed to the Board on 2 January 2023 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He is a Member of the Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee and Governance, Nominating and Remuneration Committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Housing, Building & Planning and Master of Science in Planning from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is a Corporate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners ("MIP") and a Registered Planner with the Board of Town Planners, Malaysia.
In the past, he had served in Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia, Selangor Branch committee, as well as, in the councils of MIP and International Real Estate Federation Malaysia (FIABCI) Malaysian Chapter.
From 2013 to 2022, he was the Managing Director of KLK Land Sdn Bhd and responsible for overseeing the business development, planning and implementation of KLK Group property projects.
He has 42 years of experience in the property industry with 22 years (from 1990 to 2012) as Head of Property division in IOI Group where he was also an Executive Director of IOI Properties Berhad.

Shirley Goh
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ms Shirley Goh was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 July 2023. She is also the chairperson of the Audit Committee, and a member of Risk Management Committee of the Company.
She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
She retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia (“PwC”) on 30 June 2020 having worked with PwC for 41 years, of which 24 years were as a Partner. During her tenure with PwC, she was a long serving member of the Assurance Executive Team and was elected by the Partners to the Oversight Board in 2016 which she chaired for 4 years prior to her retirement.
As a partner in PwC, she had undertaken numerous advisory assignments to advise her clients on listing requirements of Initial Public Offers (IPOs) on local and overseas exchanges, fund raising exercises, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate restructuring activities. Apart from this, she also had a myriad of experience advising on local and cross-border Merger & Acquisition transactions at all stages of integration, whereby she also worked with clients with overseas operations such as in China, India, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
She has over 40 years of extensive experience in audit engagement and in providing business advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including local enterprises and conglomerates as well as multinational companies in a variety of industries of financial services, healthcare, construction, property development & investment, poultry farming, retail, services etc.
She is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Malayan Banking Berhad (“Maybank”) and UEM Edgenta Berhad (“UEM Edgenta”). She is the Chairperson of the Audit Committee of both Maybank and UEM Edgenta. She also serves as a member of the Credit Review Committee of Maybank.
