More than 1,200 affordable homes in Bandar Putra, Kulai to be ready by end 2023

JOHOR BAHRU (Sept 21): Up to 1,264 affordable homes in Bandar Putra, Kulai will be ready by the end of next year.
Johor housing and local government committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor (pictured) told The Star in a recent report that the homes being developed by IOI Properties comprise four projects: two under the auspices of Rumah Mampu Milik Johor (RMMJ) and one each for Johor Community Housing Type A (PKJA) and Johor Community Housing Type B (PKJB).
“The RMMJ units will be sold at RM150,000 each while the PKJA’s selling price is RM42,000 and PKJB RM80,000 per unit.
“The four projects are currently being developed by IOI Properties, with the first RMMJ in Kampung Pertanian expected to be completed by the end of this year,” Mohd Jafni said in the report.
Kampung Pertanian will be townhouse project with 306 units, each measuring around 1,000 sq ft with three rooms.
“We expect the open ballot process to commence before the end of this year.
“The project is currently at 90% and the remaining work is for Telekom Malaysia Bhd to finish the wiring and Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd to complete the water piping.
“The other RMMJ project is currently at 22% completion, PKJA is at 24% and PKJB is at 30%,” he said.
The three projects will have a total of 958 units.
