IOI Properties unveils 100-acre IOI Rio City masterplan with 1,000,000-sq ft IOI Mall Rio retail catalyst

To ensure safe, convenient mobility and encourage sustainable living within Bandar Puteri Puchong and  IOI Rio City, IOIPG has invested into an infrastructural system of underpasses and tunnels, including  dedicated ingress and egress points to basement parking facilities in IOI Rio City, as well as intelligent  parking systems to optimise traffic flow in IOIPG-managed parking facilities. These serve to reduce  traffic bottlenecks and road congestion aboveground, while promoting walkability in and around the  community.  

“Addressing traffic concerns in the area, we are exploring the addition of a direct flyover from the Bandar  Puteri Puchong Interchange to the adjacent commercial area, Puteri 2, to further streamline traffic flow along Lebuh Puteri and surrounding roads,” said Chung.

Rainwater is also  harvested for irrigation purposes in IOIPG-managed facilities.
