A SELECTION of more than 100 Asian dishes with a variety of stalls set up for the break of fast is to be expected when dining at a hotel.

At The Eatery in Four Points by Sheraton Puchong, the main buffet line will have a variety of dishes as well as action stations to suit every palate.

The stalls within the restaurant catch the attention of diners and even I was taken to head there first.

The satay station is a must. The restaurant did not just serve chicken and beef satay but took it up a notch by also serving grilled skewers of prawn, venison and lamb.
 

The laksa station will have four types of laksa.

There are four lip-smacking gravies to choose from, namely asam laksa, curry laksa, Kelantan laksa and Johor laksa. Pair it with your favourite type of noodles and delight in a comforting meal.

The lemang is served in a dim sum steamer, with three slices in each serving.

It is a clever way to retain its heat and moisture.

This yummy festive dish can be enjoyed with sambal (anchovies in chilli), or chicken and beef floss.

Another station that got my attention was the one serving instant noodles.

Not quite what one would expect in a fancy hotel, but it was nonetheless irresistible. You can have the noodles fried or cooked in soup, adjust to the portion that you want and add chicken, prawn, fishcakes, vegetables and the likes, to custom-make it just the way you like it.

There is also roast lamb, which has lately become a staple in Ramadan buffets.

Citarasa Warisan Ramadan buffet at The Eatery is available from May 6 to June 3. It is priced at RM130 nett per adult and RM65 nett per child aged four to 12 years old.

Early-bird vouchers are sold until May 12 at RM78 nett per adult and RM39 nett per child. The price is also applicable for the period from June 1 to 3.
