We are mindful of the need to apportion economic values generated by our business operations to the development and maintenance of community facilities and local landscapes of our surrounding developments as these serve to enhance social interaction and economic progress. Our infrastructure investments are made with sustainability, connectivity and inclusivity in mind, with commercial and retail areas thoughtfully planned with public infrastructures to derive socio-economic multiplier effect for the communities in the townships that we develop.
In FY2025, IOIPG transformed Central Park @ 16 Sierra into an eco-friendly community hub featuring solar-powered amenities and upgraded recreational spaces, while introducing educational signage at IOI Resort City Central Park to raise biodiversity awareness.
Unearthing Young Talents
The Group recognises the importance of strategic collaboration with youth organisations to allow for active involvement of youth in assisting in specific projects; honing skills in planning, decision-making and project implementation.
Investing in Our Future - IOI Foundation
IOI Foundation which is supported by the Group contributes financially to various schools, hospitals, welfare homes and charitable bodies, and offers scholarships and grants to students. We invest in educational and human capital development programs as we believe every child deserves equal access to education for a brighter future.

Advocating a Circular Economy
Bargain Basement, initiated by IOI Foundation, is a retail store based on the concept of circular economy that encourages the public to donate their pre-loved and unused items to the store. These items are sold at a minimal cost with net proceeds being channeled to charity organisations. Bargain Basement is currently operating at IOI City Mall, IOI Mall Puchong, UTAR Kampar, and UTAR Sungai Long.

Community Development Initiatives
Beyond its property development-driven community investments, IOIPG remains committed to creating meaningful and lasting social impact. The Group actively supports initiatives that promote social values, community growth, and environmental awareness.
In FY2025, IOIPG invested a total of RM12.84 million for the benefit of external stakeholders through donations, venue sponsorships, and direct expenditure on social programmes. These efforts reached and positively impacted 2,350 individuals across the Group’s communities, reflecting IOIPG’s continuous dedication to inclusive and sustainable development.
As part of its commitment to community upliftment, the IOIPG Foundation continued its annual Wish Tree Festive Series in FY2025, bringing joy to underprivileged children during major celebrations. Employees fulfilled gift wishes, shared festive essentials, and hosted events that spread happiness and strengthened community bonds. The initiative was further enriched through tree planting and community collaborations with Marriott International Hotel, as well as the “Road to Give” charity fun run, fostering shared purpose and meaningful engagement with partners and the wider community.

Revitalising for Community Needs
The Group has been steadily enhancing its buildings to ensure optimum business operation and maintaining excellence in delivering convenience to the community we operates in. We rehabilitate aging buidings to enhance thermal comfort, improve energy and water efficiency, as well as introducing new tenants to uplift the communities shopping experience. For example, the Group has progressively upgraded the IOI Mall Puchong since its inception in 1996, to accommodate the expanding population in the Puchong region. The Group also initiated refurbishment and facilities upgrade at IOI Mall Kulai, which is operational since 2001. These improvements would cater to the community's daily needs and lifestyle.
