GUEST SERVICE ASSISTANT

FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist all guests in problems and questions as required. Ensure that all guest problems are resolved.
  • Be disciplined at all times, stand alert and tall at the front desk, greet guests immediately and offer assistance before guest need to ask.
  • Perform guest registration and room assignment and accommodate special requests of all customers.
  • To work closely with Housekeeping in ensuring the room assignment is clean prior to check in time.
  • To ensure Tesa Key card is issued upon check in and collects upon guest check out.
  • To ensure all messages are keyed in correctly and accurately immediately upon receipt.
  • To print the shift report for filing on daily basis.

  • Follow all cash handling and banking procedures to check out all customers efficiently.
  • Report to work on time (15 minutes before shift) for the shift briefing. Personal appearance and grooming must conform to standard.
  • Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards. Conform to cash handling procedures at all times.
  • To ensure all the vouchers signed by guest and authorized by the Asst. Manager.
  • To prepare cashier audits report upon completing your shift and checked by Asst. Manager.
  • To receive room reservation over the counter or telephone after closing of reservation department.
  • To ensure all follow-ups are done during your shift.
  • To ensure that handover shift is made efficiently.
  • Have knowledge about room rates, packages, discounts and promotions and know how to handle each. 
  • Have knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Manager E-Commerce will grow Palm Garden Hotel’s online sales and presence according to business unit strategy. This includes further developing and managing Palm Garden Hotel’s online agents, identifying and obtaining new online agents and developing special online events, promotions and combinations with key online customers within the parameters of governing policies and brand guidelines.

  • Responsible for hiring, training and continuous development of the sales team to ensure they are performing satisfactorily.
  • Drives incremental e-commerce and hotel revenue through a broad strategic approach.
  • Performs various elements of e-commerce website structure, design, content, navigation, information architecture, branding, marketing, performance and site functionality for a positive impact on e-commerce efforts. Grow key customer accounts by maintaining the most up-to-date content, promotional opportunities and coordination with the marketing plan/calendar.
  • Look for ways to improve company brands, products or categories on customer websites via brand pages, listing optimization, sorting/filtering, etc.
  • Work closely with sales management, the marketing department and the customer service department to make them aware of opportunities at key customers based on customer marketing and promotional calendar or event.
  • Analyzes web traffic and trends and makes recommendations on action related to data.
