2009
April : IOI Properties Bhd launched IOI Privilege Card, the 1st community card in Malaysia on 18 April 2009, with the objective to encourage residents to shop and dine within the IOI townships and enjoy savings at the same time. It was launched by the Kinrara’s State Assemblyman YB Teresa Kok together with IOI Group Executive Director Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor.
2008
January : IOI Properties (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Ho Bee had successfully jointly tendered for the Pinnacle Collection, a 5.3-acre 99-year leasehold land parcel located at Sentosa Cove, Singapore for a total consideration of SCD1,097,499,999 for a luxury condominium development.
May : IOI Properties Bhd’s subsidiary Multi Wealth (S) Pte Ltd has acquired 53% interest in Mergui Development Pte Ltd. A joint-venture company that would buy of a freehold parcel at Mergui Land in Singapore and redevelop it into high-rise residential project.
2007
March : IOI Land Singapore Pte Ltd and a Singaporean public listed company, Ho Bee Investment Ltd won a bid to buy 1.5 hectares of leasehold land on Sentosa Island in Singapore. The land has been approved for a condominium development of up to a maximum of 200 units.
IOI Properties Bhd together with Rakan Cop launched the Rakan Cop programme for Puchong district with aim to create a safe township and to forge better co-operation between the Police and the Puchong communities
June : Puteri Mart, the first private wet market complex in Puchong was officially opened for business. It is another successful project by IOI Properties which bring a new shopping experience to the local communities.
November : IOI undertook the construction of the new SJK (C) Ladang Harcroft building in Bandar Puchong Jaya at its sole cost and the school was officially handed over to the Minister of Education during an official opening by YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

February : IOI Properties has sponsored land and building the RM5 million Chinese primary school in Puchong Jaya township.
June : Ground breaking ceremony for Market Square, Puchong's first private wet market located in Bandar Puteri Puchong township, by YB Lau Yeng Peng, MP of Puchong.

July : Official opening of Bandar Puteri Puchong's Townpark by Puchong Assemblyman, Datuk Mohamad Satim Diman and IOI Executive Director, Dato' Lee Yeow Chor.
2002
August : IOI won the bid for development of a Gems and Jewellery Park in Hyderabad, India. The five-storey complex, to be built on a 2.4-acre site, will have a total floor space of 220,000 sq ft and would be developed at a cost of around RM35 million.
2001
June : Contributed 50 acres of land in Karak, Pahang for a Tun Abdul Rahman (TAR) College.
September : Acquired 500 acres of land adjacent to Cyberjaya for township development.
October : Launch of Putra Heights, Melaka, 43 acres of prime bungalow enclave.
December : Opening of the RM 50 million IOI Mall shopping complex in Bandar Putra, Kulai. IOI Mall is the new landmark in the town of Kulai and Senai as well as a new icon of IOI Property in Johor.
2000
July : Launching of myioi.com, the IOI Properties community website. It offers online payment facility, customer support service, tips on buying and financing homes, and information on property market.
1999
February : Following the success of Bandar Puchong Jaya, IOI launched another 930 acre of mixed development in Puchong called Bandar Puteri, Puchong.
October : Completion of IOI Business Park, Puchong, a 330,000 sq feet (net area) of office block fronting the Lebuhraya - Damansara Puchong.
1998
October : IOI officially handed over a RM5 million 2 storey police station and a 28 unit apartment complex to Polis Diraja Malaysia during its official opening ceremony graced by the Menteri Besar of Selangor and Inspector General of Police.
1997
September : Taman Regent, a new development in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan was launched.
1996
February : Launched development of Bandar Putra Segamat, Johor, another township developed by the Group. It is projected to be completed in the year 2001.
March : The Group acquired a 2,600 sq.m. piece of land at Middle Road, Singapore where a 12 storey office block called "IOI Plaza" has been completed.
May : The IOI Mall, a RM100 million mega shopping centre situated in Bandar Puchong Jaya, commenced operations in May 1996. It offers all the conveniences of modern shopping, entertainment, food and recreational activities under one roof. It was officially opened by the Menteri Besar of Selangor on 15th November 1996.
October : Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new RM10 million Bandar Puchong Police Station by the Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Rahim Noor on 26th October 1996.
1995
August : Forayed into the property market in Johor with the launch of Bandar Putra Senai, Johor, a comprehensive township development covering an area of approximately 2,299 hectares which is envisaged to span over a period of 25 years with a total sales value of RM10 billion.

December : Lam Soon Huat Development Berhad was renamed IOI Properties Berhad to better reflect new identity as a major subsidiary of the IOI Group.
1991 Official launch of Bandar Puchong Jaya by the Menteri Besar of Selangor.

May : The Group launched Bandar Puchong Jaya, a comprehensive self-contained township development in Puchong, Selangor, covering an area of over 374 hectares.

April : Phase 1 of Taman Mayang housing project was completed. The property market remained depressed for 1987.
1985
April : Lam Soon Huat Development Berhad (now known as IOI Properties Berhad) was listed on the KLSE on 25th April 1985.
May : Taman Mayang housing project was launched in Petaling Jaya.

February : Ventured into property development with the acquisition of three companies, namely Bukit Kelang Development Sdn Bhd, Rapat Jaya Sdn Bhd and Eng Hup Industries Sdn Bhd.
